USC Fashion Week 2015

As the warm weather is approaching, so is one of the best weeks to be a USC student: Fashion Week. This years USC Fashion Week will be fully packed with fun and style starting March 23 and ending on March 26

Kicking off Fashion Week, Fashion Board members will be on Davis Field, between Russell House and the Thomas Cooper Library from 11-2 handing out information, promotional items and treats. Later that day at 5:30 on Davis Field is the Doggy Fashion Show. The Columbia Humane Society’s pups will be walking down the runway in tutus, bow ties and capes! All dogs are available for adoption, and the proceeds from the raffle will be going towards the Humane Society. Students are encouraged to bring their pups to the event and the best dressed dog will receive a basket courtesy of the Humane Society! Both of the day's events are free and opened to everyone in the USC community.

On Tuesday at 7 p.m., Melissa Karl, the Associate Accessories Editor at Lucky Magazine, will speak about her experiences in the industry. Melissa is a fellow Gamecock and former Fashion Board President. She graduated in 2012 in the Department of Retailing. Arrive to this exciting event early at 6:30 p.m. to network!
