As we all know the Cannes Film festival is one of the most star-studded events of the year. Held on the French Riviera the Cannes Film festival features some of the best upcoming movies for the year. Many of us are constant movie goers whether it is in an actual theatre or on Netflix. This festival has become known more and more for the lavish parties and the exquisite fashion. Obviously, for us fashion oriented people this could not get better. The suits are tight and tailored and the gowns are detailed down to the final crystal.
This year was better than ever and it was hard to choose favorites. After narrowing it down to 10 favorites I have listed 5 top favorites as well. Not only are the clothes to die for, but the jewelry is down right perfection. Ironically as this year's highly anticipated film Bling Ring comes out in theaters about a group of teens who rob Hollywood A-listers, $2 million dollars worth of jewelry was stolen. After everyone got over that drama it was back to focusing on the extravagant gowns that graced the red carpet and glamorous parties.

1. Jessica Chastain in custom Givenchy Haute Couture
This color could not be more stunning on her and the beading is beautiful!
2. Joan Smalls in Emilio Pucci
Once again, not sure why you are here but you look stunning. This could not scream Pucci more, yet is so perfect with the color and elegance that is Joan Smalls.
3. Dita Von Teese in Elie Saab Haute Couture
I never quite figured her out, but I am in love with this look completely.
4. My girl J-Lawrence never failing in Dior
Yes I do think we are friends and yes the simplicity of this Dior gown suits her perfectly.
5. The ENTIRE Bling Ring cast in Emilio Pucci, Valentino, Dior and Chanel Haute Couture
This cast could not be more adorable or better looking in their gowns and suit!
