Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker

What happens when one of your favorite models pairs up with one of your favorite eyeglass brands? First, you pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming. Then, you rush to their website to make sure you claim a pair of these limited edition specs before they run out and are retired forever.

Fashion Board has been graciously asked by Warby Parker to check out their new collaboration with runway favorite Karlie Kloss. If we liked the products, we could write and promote it on our blog. I was honored when I received the email, and was so excited when I saw the line of sunglasses they came up with. How could I not gush over these sleek, feminine sunglasses?

Karlie was very hands on when creating this line with WP. They chose 3 styles that symbolize her "genuine warmth and go-get-'em energy," and came up with the Julia, Marple and Clara.

I know what you're thinking. Will they fit my face? Will they look good with my hair? What about my skin tone? Lucky for us, KK x WP has already thought of everything! What sweethearts. The wire frames for each pair are made up of ultra-strong and lightweight titanium that come in both silver and gold. The frames vary in shapes and the lenses also vary in tones. What'd I tell ya? Everything! My favorite is the Julia in Heirloom Gold with Copper Fade lenses. They "PAIR" perfectly with my fair skin, blonde hair and round/oval face.

Let's check out the sunnies, shall we?

I'm sure you didn't need another reason to go out and buy these beauties,
but I'm going to give you two:
  1. Warby Parker is not only an amazing company, but a conscious company. For every pair of glasses they sell, they give a pair to someone in need. They have already donated over 500,000 pairs. They also want to create an environment where their employees can flourish and look forward to going into the office every morning. That's something we can all get behind, yeah?
  2. For this limited edition capsule collection with Karlie Kloss, Warby Parker will donate proceeds to Edible Schoolyard NYC, an organization Karlie strongly supports. "Edible Schoolyard NYC provides low-income public schools with kitchens and gardens, and students...learn the tools to develop lifelong healthy habits. The donations will benefit two community farm stands in Brooklyn and East Harlem, where kids learn about food preparation in their own neighborhoods. And as always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need."
They also gave us exclusive access to Karlie's Vogue shoot.

The Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker frames are available June 10 online and in their stores. $145 each

Don't forget to join the conversations on Warby Parker's Facebook and Twitter.

I hope you liked what you saw as much as I did! Keep checking back for more great posts about what Fashion Board members have been up to this summer.

Fashionably yours,
